Meet the Team
Dianna Beck, EA (Owner)
Dianna graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2009 with a BBA in Accounting. Shortly thereafter she and her husband moved to Sandpoint, Idaho for a better way of life and a career that would fit her accounting education. She gained invaluable experience working for a local CPA firm where she fell in love with all aspects of accounting and taxation. To gain a deeper understanding of the tax law, Dianna studied and sat for the three rigorous IRS exams to become an Enrolled Agent (EA). A year later, she founded Allegro Tax Services in hopes of serving Sandpoint and fostering professional relationships with the small business community. Her primary areas of expertise include accounting for small businesses, new business consulting, QuickBooks training, and tax planning/preparation for individuals and corporations.
What is an Enrolled Agent (EA)?
Enrolled agents (EAs) are America’s Tax Experts. They are the only federally licensed tax practitioners who specialize in taxation and also have unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS. EA status is granted after passing three rigorous exams administered by the IRS. Unlike attorneys and CPAs, who are state licensed and who may or may not choose to specialize in taxes, all Enrolled Agents specialize in taxation. EAs may represent their clients before the IRS on any matter including IRS audits, collections, payment issues, tax refund matters and appeals. Enrolled agents are required to abide by the provisions of the Department of Treasury’s Circular 230, which provides the regulations governing the practice of enrolled agents before the IRS. ~ NAEA.org
